Features: G-style orange life ring, one-time mold forming, hard shell construction for added durability, puncture-resistant and won’t tear. Polyurethane foam is extremely buoyant for ultimate floating performance. This throw life ring is high durability, not easy to damage and other advantages. Dimensions: A lifebuoy must have an outer diameter not exceeding 800 mm and an inner diameter of at least 400 mm. This size ensures that lifebuoys are manageable and effective in a rescue operation.
Material: Lifebuoys must be constructed from inherently buoyant materials. This means they do not rely on air compartments that may deflate, ensuring reliability when it matters most.
Buoyancy: Each lifebuoy must support a minimum weight of 14.5 kg in fresh water for a period of 24 hours, ensuring it can support an overboard individual.
Durability: Lifebuoys must withstand a drop from the height at which they are stowed or 30 meters, whichever is greater, without damage to their structure or buoyancy capabilities.
