The following terms and definitions apply to this standard:
3.1 Protective clothing for firefighters Special clothing worn by firefighters during firefighting, used to provide thermal protection for the upper and lower torso, head and neck, arms and legs, but the protective clothing does not cover the head, hands and feet.
3.2 Moisture barrier Moisture barrier The part of the protective clothing used to prevent water from penetrating into the thermal insulation layer while being able to discharge water vapor.
3.3 Thermal barrier The part of the protective clothing used to provide thermal insulation protection
3.4 Seam The connection of the two edges of the fabric, firmly attached to the protective clothing by sewing or other means.
3.5 Reflective trim Fabric sewn on the outer garment that can reflect light as a mark is helpful to improve visibility.
4 Style, size and specification
4.1 Style The style of the protective clothing in this standard is split, consisting of a protective top and protective pants. The performance requirements of the one-piece protective clothing can also be referred to in this standard.
4.2 Size The size should be set in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T1335.1 and GB/T1335.2.
4.3 Specifications
