Product Introduction
EMF MARINE supplies SOLAS lifebuoys and related equipment, including lifebuoy lights, lifebuoy storage brackets, lifebuoy quick release box and lifebuoy floating lifeline according to SOLAS regulations for life saving appliances. The EMF MARINE SOLAS/MED approved life rings are made from high impact High-density polyethylene (HDPE) for superior life expectancy in the severe environments at sea. The lifebuoy is fitted with TYPE 2 MED approved retro-reflective tape and PP grab lines. This life ring was approved for 100m of storage height.
All EMF MARINE LIFEBUOYS ARE MADE BY THE SAME OEM MAKER IN CHINA AS ONE OF THE MARKETING LEADER IN MARINE INDUSTRY FROM DENMARK ORDER FROM. GOOD QUALITY.
Application/Limitation
The lifebuoy XT5555-1 has sufficient mass to operate the quick-release arrangement provided for self-activated smoke signals and self-igniting lights. The XT5555 has not this mass.
The used retro-reflective material has to be approved according to the Marine Equipment Directive and bear the Mark of Conformity.
The design assessment is based on IMO Res. MSC.48(66) as amended by IMO Res. MSC.207(81) and IMO Res. MSC.218(82).
Each lifebuoy is marked in block capitals of the Roman alphabet with the name and port of registry of the ship on which it is carried.
Production and installation testing shall be carried out according to IMO Res. MSC.81(70), Part 2, Ch.3.

Q: What is a lifebuoy used for?
A: The lifebuoy is usually a ring-shaped personal flotation device with a connecting line allowing the casualty to be pulled to the rescuer in a life boat. They are carried by ships and boats and located beside bodies of water and swimming pools. For lifebuoys used in high sea, SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) approval is mandatory.
Q: What certifications can you provide?
A: We offer MED B and D approval by DNV as per European Marine Equipment (MED).
Q: What are the payment terms of EMF Marine?
A: Normally T/T 100% in advance for small orders. T/T 30% against order and balance before shipment for large orders. But we can discuss on special payment terms for some special orders.
Q: What are your general delivery terms?
A: EXW, FOB are the general terms we offer. CIF, FCA is less and less offered due to quick changes on freight in current unstable shipping market.
