Product Introduction
Oil finding paste is used to measure the presence of different types of oils. The color of the paste has a very clear change when contact with oil.
This paste detects almost any type of oil, including mineral oil, vegetable oil and animal oil, and solvents such as benzol, alcohol, acrylic solution, alkaline solution and spirits.
Heavy oils require a few seconds of contact. It is a one off action paste and repeat dips will require a fresh application of paste.

Instructions for Use
Ensure the target surface is dry and free of loose dirt.
Apply a thin, even layer of paste over the area to be tested (e.g., along a weld, under a fitting, around a gasket).
Allow the equipment to operate normally or pressurize the system.
Inspect the paste. Any area where the white paste turns clear indicates an oil leak path.
Mark the leak point, clean the paste, and proceed with repair.
FAQ
Q: Does the paste work on all types of oil?
A: Yes. It is effective on a wide range of hydrocarbons, including mineral oils, synthetic lubricants, hydraulic fluids, gear oils, diesel, gasoline, and greases.
Q: How long does the paste remain active after application?
A: It will remain tacky and sensitive for several days indoors. Exposure to direct sunlight, extreme dust, or heavy rain may reduce effectiveness over 24-48 hours.
Q: Is it safe to use on electrical components?
A: The paste itself is non-conductive. However, it should not be applied directly to live electrical contacts. It is safe for use on the exterior housings of electrical equipment to detect oil leaks from cooling systems.
Q: Can it be used to find water leaks?
A: No. This product is specifically formulated to react with hydrocarbons (oil, grease). It will not change color with water, coolant, or most other non-oily liquids.
