The product or packing is marked with name and address of manufacturer, type designation, the MED mark of Conformity, Notified Body No. and the year of manufacturing.

Each end of this safety line attaches a snap hook, easy operation.
Working Principle:
These fireman safety lifelines are capable of being attached by means of snap-hook to the harness of the breathing apparatus (SCBA) of fire-fighters or to a separate belt in order to prevent the breathing apparatus detached when the lifeline is operated.

Product details
According to standard, for each breathing apparatus a fireproof lifeline of at least 30 m in length shall be provided. This lifeline have a minimum nominal breaking load of at least 10 kN, and is able to withstand a static proof load of at least 3,5 kN for 5 min without failure.
This lifeline is capable of attachment by means of a snaphook to the harness of the apparatus or to a separate belt.

A: It enables the firefighters to keep in contact with persons outside by sending rope signals." Their standard lifeline signals include: One pull: Stop (if moving), Okay (If at rest) Two pulls: Advance. Three Pulls: Come out at once. To remember the signals for using a lifeline, recall the word "OATH" that stands for: O= OK-l pull. A = Advance -feed me slack - 2 pulls . T = Take up -retrieve slack - 3 pulls.
Q: What is the length of a fireproof life line?
A: Marine Fireproof Lifeline is combination rope of wire and nylon or hemp rope, complete with safety snap hooks. Available in 30, 40 and 50 meter lengths.
