A2: NMXF 635 uses inherently flame retardant Aramid fiber, not post treatment coating. Proper washing following instructions will not lose flame retardant property.

Q3: What temperature can this hood resist?

A3: It resists short time radiant heat and flash fire exposure. It is not for long time direct contact with open flame. Do not stay persistently inside high temperature fire environment relying only on this hood.

Q4: Can this hood resist chemical splash or toxic gas?

A4: No. NMXF 635 is thermal flame protective hood only. It cannot block toxic gas, chemical liquid or corrosive agent. Respirator mask and chemical proof gear shall be used for chemical hazard scenarios.
